Cheese has suddenly stopped recording sound - video fine but just low hum on playback. No problems until now. The only thing I can think of is I ran Audacity to record from line input and the problem appeared. Have tried webcam on another machine and it's still fine. Looking at pavucontrol I can see activity on the level bar.
