php - Compare two audio files using their waveforms ...
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/14139919/compare-two-audio-files-using-their-waveforms
For compare I made steps: Split audio files to chunks about 1 sec. each. Calculate Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) for each chunk. Calculate correlation between the FFT from the first file and the FFT from the second file. It for each chunk. Check what for all chunk correlation is more then 80%. This value was enough for my project. Share

There are two comparison modes: (1) Full Length vs Full Length, and (2) Full Length of the Shorter vs Partial Length of the Longer. In both modes, the two WAV files can have different lengths in time. Mode 2 can be used to check whether the shorter is a part of the longer and, if YES, where the shorter is located in the longer.

Comparison of two waveforms of audio files. Ask Question Asked 10 years, 3 months ago. Active 10 years, 3 months ago. Viewed 2k times 4 1. I am a VC++ developer and currently need help in comparing two audio files. Lets say I have two wave files and one of it is created using the other with some modifications like lowering the loudness etc.
What Are Waveforms And How Do They Work? - …
https://soundbridge.io/what-are-waveforms-how-they-work/
SYNTHETIC WAVEFORMS Synthetic waveforms are MILES less complex than audio recorded from an acoustic or electrical source. This, frankly, is the beauty of them – they allow us to create sounds from scratch without getting ahead of ourselves.

I am trying to compare audio waveform from input waveform (A) to preset waveform (B)from in the device. I try to lookup everywhere. Most likely someone give such a source code as follow : …
Compare two audio files online by measuring the similarity ...
https://blue2digital.com/apps/compare-audios.html
Identifying the frequency components of each audio signal is crucial for audio comparison. The time-domain signal is difficult to inspect and must be converted to its frequency-domain equivalent before analysis can be performed. Our software utilizes an algorithm that produces an estimate of the audio signal's frequency content to compose the ...
Comparing two waveforms aquired - LabVIEW General - …
https://lavag.org/topic/4493-comparing-two-waveforms-aquired/
The issue here is more that you still are not telling us how do you want to compare the waveforms. There are million ways to compare two waveforms. We can only help you in LabVIEW related stuff, but we cannot help you if you don't describe in detail what and how do you want to compare your wavefroms.
How to measure the similarity between two signal?

NB: If you want to ignore the absolute amplitudes of the two waveforms in your comparison then normalise them first. This can be done after the FFT by …

https://dsp.stackexchange.com/questions/1867/how-do-i-compare-2-audio-files-returning-a-percentage-of-difference
I wish to ask if there is a way to compare the sound (not just the binaries) in 2 audio files of the same properties and same format (WAV), and show the percentage difference between the 2 sounds in the 2 audio files. Help will be greatly appreciated.
Asymmetric Waveforms: Should You Be ... - produce New …
https://www.producenewmedia.com/asymmetric-waveforms-should-you-be-concerned/
If an audio clip’s waveform(s) are asymmetric and the audio exhibits audible distortion and/or a loss of headroom, a Phase Rotator can be used to reestablish proper symmetry. Below is a segment lifted from a distributed Podcast (full zoom out). Notice the lack of symmetry, with the positive side of the waveform limited much more aggressively ...
