I do fear that the audio jack card is bad., but its insane how the Vista sp1 update caused that. I do have 2 other audio jack cards I can replace it with but its more of a pain to tear the laptop apart than it is to soft-fix it. When I uninstall and reboot I get Windows generic drivers.
