Thanks, I'd already read that brief FAQ. I do correct out-of-sync sources (with AVIMUXGUI) before giving them to ConvertXtoDVD. So, if I do not want ConvertXtoDVD to interfere any further with my file because I've manually corrected the audio, I assume the answer is to 'check' the 'Dont check/fix audio discontinuities'?

I have tried checking the box for "do not fix audio discontinuities"... but that made the problem worse... audio even farther out of sync. I have the format set to NTSC on ConvertX. All the files play fine (sync is good) in VLC --- but some files are 29 fps, some are 23 fps.
