Ive just used convertx to dvd to convert a avi file to vobs for burning to dvd. However the audio is way out of synch by a few seconds. The original file is fine but not the dvd Ive created. I use ConvertX 4 to burn my DVD's, usually with no problems. (I already downloaded the ConvertX 5 update, but don't like it, so I'm using 4) Now I have some avi's that I'm trying to put on one disc. The first failed burn resulted in the 1st and 2nd files (episodes) on the DVD playing fine... but all the rest of them being out of sync on the audio.

I notice that a few of them seem to be going out of sync after the conversion in ConvertX.It plays in sync before the conversion. Unfortunately, I can't seem to open the converted file in a video player, because after it converts in ConvertX, it creates the video & audio TS folders, but they won't open the video player.I tried the hold CTRL + A, but it still wouldn't work.

Go to Program Files\DVDFlick\ImgBurn. Launch ImgBurn and go to the burn speed settings and set it to 4x. Close ImgBurn and the next time you run DVDFlick, it will burn at 4x. It might not be a bad idea to buy a 5-pack of DVDRW discs until you get this problem sorted out.

The original files will always be in sync and this isn't a media issue, VBR audio or something. I've had this happen 100 times and AviMux_Gui has only about a 1% fail rate, I actually found it as a result of ConvertXtoDVD encoding a file with bad audio.
