I downloaded the trial of ConvertXtoDVD (and intend to buy if I can get this to work!) The movie works perfecty but there is no audio. By the way the .avi's play perfectly via Windows Media Player (sound and picture no problems) Similary I tried the same with Nero and ended up with audio but no picture.

If ConvertX is not displaying audio from the source folder, then either there is no audio or there is a problem with ConvertX. Run GSpot. From the same source folder that you use for ConvertX, drag VTS_01_1.VOB onto GSpot. Verify that there is an entry in the Audio area. You can also try to play the file using the buttons.
