Is it a 32bit plug-in? I had a similar problem after updating Logic with my old 32-bit Waves libraries. Try reinstalling the plugin and restarting Logic. Restart your computer. Also try going to Preferences > Audio > Devices and disable and enable core audio. No particular order as it could be any combination of those^
