Open Device Manager->Sound, video and game controllers, right click on Creative SB X-Fi, disable it then re-enable. That was the trick that solved the problem. I'd try: Go into BIOS and disable onboard sound, and in device manager disable the sound card on your 3080 also. Remove any onboard sound drivers and software except the Creative ones. Get Autoruns and look through your startup items and uncheck any sound drivers that didn't uninstall (there usually is).
