The X-fi XM seems to be good enough for recording...although Creative has never been very good at Recording cards. M-audio is probably the way to go but then again the X-fi's are a new design...In the past nobody serious about recording would use a Creative card...They just didn't cut it..But this is a new day...I will have to read the specs though....
