I own CD50 [Mk1] since March 2004. I picked it up after many-hours comparison with other CDPs in audio shop. I simply like it's sound, it's addictive, "analog", maybe due to that all CD5x have upsampling DACs. I was unable to spot audible difference between CD50 and CD53.
