The Audio Note Zero DAC uses a conventional 24bit/96kHz delta-sigma oversampling DAC chip by Burr Brown. Only the Audio Note DACs with the designation "1x" do not use oversampling (that's to say: any of the more expensive AN DACs). To that end, does anyone have any experience with the Audio Note Dac Zero? This is the 24/96 one, not the unflitered/non-oversampling ones which are a fair bit more expensive. Emporium have a NOS Zero for under 400 quid which on the face of it seems fairly reasonable, although I have no real knowledge of its strengths/weaknesses.
