Dazzle DVC100 audio not working I know a lot of questions are like this but I have a real problem. I recently plugged in a Dazzle DVC100 into Windows Movie Maker. I'm recording a Wii U with it, and it records the video just fine. But there are two problems- It won't detect the game audio, so I have to put it through a speaker right next to it.

I guess therefore I only have video but no sound. In amarectv it's the same. I can only choose the dazzle as video capture device but not as audio input device (see picture in attachment). But in the Windows device manager there is shown both: Dazzle DVC100 Audio Device and Dazzle DVC100 Video Device (see picture in attachment).

Dazzle DVC 80 didn´t capture audio. And it still doesn´t. I bypassed that USB device with audio cables, connecting them into LINE IN on my sound card. I used patch cable with 2 RCA audio connectors on one side and 3 mm stereo connector on the other side to connect to the VCR. That did the trick. -- Erv ([email protected]), March 13, 2005.

My Dazzle DVC100 always work fine with Windows 7/8/10 =<1909 until I installed 2004 and also get Inserted Frames with choppy videoplayback and distorted audio. I have noticed in device-manager, the audio device of the dazzle is reported as "Dazzle DVC100 Audio Device" (2004/20H2), but in =<1909 as "DVC100" with the same latest driver 1.08.

Disconnect the 500 USB or 700 USB or Dazzle DVC 100 Download driver from from Pinnacle hardware drivers download page and run the driver file that was downloaded and follow the on-screen prompts. On the main menu, click on Devices and choose the Dazzle Video and Dazzle Audio (audio won't show a check next to it) 3. Rejoice!! Then minimize AMCAP to the taskbar (leave it running) In the future, just run AMCAP before your program of choice (OBS, etc) and leave it running in the taskbar.
