DVDDeadwing is released on DVD-A format, but has a number of other high-quality sound format options that will make it compatible with most DVD set ups, including DTS 5.1 and PCM Stereo. As I am not equipped to test out the DVD-A track, this review is based on the DTS mix. Each of the mixes is 24 bit at a 48K sample rate.

I'm not sure about the DTS version of Deadwing as I was stupid enough to only buy the redbook CD version. Not really sure what I was thinking there. Overall a great band. It's somewhat amazing these guys aren't better ...

I had never heard of this band before but read a good review of the dvd audio and took a chance. I love it and want to hear more from this band. The 5.1 mix is done by my favorite surround mixer Elliott Scheiner.
