If however the audio is drifting out of sync over time, it’s more than likely an encoding problem. Chances are, if the system cannot keep up with the video encoding, and frames are being skipped, the audio and video may start to drift apart. If possible I would suggest trying a different computer and see if it improves at all.

First we tried it with NDI output and a Magewell NDI to SDI converter. That gave an audio issue. Audio was out of sync (known problem, reported at NDI plugin github). Other NDI sources (like Vmix) does not have that issue. Now we tried the Decklink mini monitor PCI card, directly connected at the Atem switcher.

Using the audio pin on the BlackMagic WDM Capture filter we start to see stuttering after 10-12 hours starting intermittently as audio drop-outs but then worsening to where the audio is unintelligible. If we use the Line In (Decklink Studio 4K) the stuttering is immediate upon starting the graph.
