Oh, well . . . The Concerto is totally magnificent. I have almost as many symphonic CDs as I do rock CDs (we're talking over 1,000 CDs), so I can compare the Concerto to both when I listen to it. It is sublime rock. It is superb symphonic music. I like the original better than the much later Deep Purple recording of it with another orchestra.
