Take note that the HDMI audio driver is wrapped up in the Intel video driver. One of the problems for you is that Dell does not support 7 on the 1525, so the drivers are just for XP and Vista.

Hi Jimco, I read your posts on this thread and you are actively trying to help. I too have 1525, Vista. Installed Sigmatel works well in laptop. When connected to TV thru HDMI cable I do not get audio output, just video (if I select sigmatel HD audio)
