I have a Dell Latitude c640 with Windows XP Pro, SP1 installed. On setup of XP it detected my sound card as an Intel AC97 82801CA/CAM device and the audio was very choppy. I searched the Dell site for c640 XP drivers and under audio found Crystal drivers which I installed and the audio was perfect.
