Go to the Dell Driver and Support, plug in your Service Tag # and see if any audio driver is available. Chances are pretty good that there will not be a driver for Windows 7 but one may exist for Windows Vista (32 bit). Download and install the driver offered for Vista. Hi I found a solution to this!!! My audio also stopped working today on my Dell XPS 13 9350, and I spent hours trying to fix and I finally did! Google "Support for XPS 13 9350 Drivers & Downloads" and go on Dell's website. Scroll down until you find "Realtek ALC3266/3246 High Definition Audio Driver" and download that.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Disk Manager Image" - I have googled it and can't really find much. Thought you might mean device manager image, but again I can't really find much about that either. I have run the Dell Update program and installed all updates it found. No change after this.

Uninstall Realtek driver from Control Panel or Device Manager. Uninstall Wave Max Pro application installed via Microsoft store. Using Display driver uninstalled, uninstall all components of Realtek audio drivers. Using Driver store explorer, delete all existing driver backups. Look for these in the list (Realtek audio, Waves component) Restart.

After an unexpectedly helpful call to live Dell support, it turned out that the HDMI had mysteriously re-enabled itself during the restart and was "conflicting with" RealTek audio. After a bit of trial-and-error troubleshooting, disabling the HDMI "audio" via device manager restored proper audio output.
