Crackling audio in Desmume. Libretro. Cores. Axiphel. 15 January 2017 03:55 #1. Is there anything I can do to lessen it? I know my computer probably isn’t exactly high end and audio is sorta tied to framerate. What’s kinda weird is the gameplay is butter smooth with no dips in framerate or stutters at all yet the audio sounds as if I have ...

The professor Layton games have crackling voice audio, and I don't know why. I'm running them on DeSmuME, and yet they continue to crackle. This is my first time messing around with emulation, so I'm afraid I don't really happen to know much about how to fix this, or if this is even really the right place to ask about this.
