I bought Deus Ex from the recent sales. When I first loaded it up everything was fine until I started to play the game and all the speech and in-game sound effects just sounded weird but the music and menu sound effects are just fine. Is there anyway to fix this? I've tried messing around with the settings but that doesn't seem to do anything.

Apr 21, 2014 @ 12:43am. If you use DeusExe just put the audio latency from 40 to 60 or if you dont : edit deusex.ini, find [Galaxy.GalaxyAudioSubsystem] and change 'Latency' again from 40 to 60. Had the same problem and this have fixed it. #1.

Deus Ex sound problems. I have problems with the sound in Deus Ex, but all my other games work just fine. Specifically, it's the voices: they start off just fine, but chops off the end of everything, and after a while what little voice is played sounds distorted. It gets progressively worse until no voices are heard at all.
