The cable that comes with the Audio2car kit plugs into an EMPTY connection on the BACK of the 2004 Prius radio. The kit includes the box needed to hook audio input to the Toyota radio. In order to get to the back of the radio you do have to temporarily remove some dash covers, etc. Probably not for everyone.

Hi, I just purchased a 2005 prius for my delivery job. It has JBL speakers, no xm or cd changer. (cd and tape deck though).. Something I really want for this car is auxiliary audio input. I've been googling this a bunch and considering buying an aftermarket stereo. I would buy a stereo right now if I didn't have the premium, JBL package.
