Both had RE SE's (mine was a 12 his was a 10) and we both had directed 1100D's. We ran ours at 2ohms though sending 800 watts to the subs. My amp never and I mean never ever ever got hot. I don't know what the deal was but after running it for a long time it never really got burning hott just kind of a mehhh hot.

The older model 1100d might get 200-225 in great shape. Even on ebay if you can get 125 to 175 I'd jump on it. Otherwise, take it apart and refinish the heatsink. Might be able to get 200-225 if you can match the factory sheen. 1100d5's still sell for 250 to 350 in great shape. Good luck with your sale.
