Attached is a short (less than 1 sec) MP4 clip that i cannot open in DirectShowSource. MediaInfo does show it as AVC video and AAC audio. Could perhaps someone here kindly suggest a way to open it, please? It HAS to be opened by DirectShowSource, as DSS has features I need to properly process it.

All I get is a fuzzy red screen message that I think says Directshowsource could not open video or audio , or I think that is what it says it is a bit small and unclear. There is more to the message but effectivly no converted file. using the troubleshoot option does not help What is happening? Please help me :eek:

It doesn't have to rely on DirectShow installed filters. Try disabling all of them and see if you can play the files: View -> Options -> Internal Filters... uncheck all the source filters and transform filters. Exit MPC and restart it for the changes to take effect.
