The mains one definately made a large difference. It is based on using a decent mains block and fitting 2 lengths of sattelite cable(rated sat 330v)CT125 from Maplins. It has a copper foil so nothing can get through! And a mesh shield. The shield is connected at the plug/wall socket end. And left off at the mains block. Any RFI now runs to earth .
