The multimeter behaviour all sounds normal. Perhaps there's a fault with the component tester, or perhaps it cannot measure low-valued resistors, and is checking leakage currents for diodes and being more fussy than the multimeter for reverse-bias. Its perfectly possible for a diode to partially fail, showing much worse reverse

Your multimeter probably works OK @ 50Hz (mains frequency). You can drive the amp @ 50Hz using a soundcard, or make a 50Hz CD. You can observe the waveform using the soundcard too, although you'll need a resistive divider. A dummy load... the cheapest 100W 2R resistor in Farnell is £4.72p. You'd be better with 4 of those, or at least 2 to do 4R. w

The 8840A is different (and older) from the 8842A, but even beats it on long-term accuracy. Both beat the Fluke 45 on accuracy, i.e. by a factor of 3 or more on DC voltage accuracy. For typical repair and maintenance work on tube amplifiers, the accuracy of all three models would be more than sufficient I'd say.

Reverse Camera Issue. I’ve recently purchased a 2014 Nissan Navara D22. The Navara came with an aftermarket head unit being the Kenwood DDX4019BT. It has a reverse camera installed. With the Kenwood, the reverse camera worked no dramas. I upgraded just the head unit (Pioneer DMH-Z5350BT) and speakers and kept the existing camera and cabling.

High pass capacitor question. Thinking of a single capacitor at about 4khz. Tweeter is rated at 4 ohms, but actual reading is 3.4 ohms. This difference changes the capacitor value for a 4khz high pass a bit: 11.69 uf for a 3.4 ohm load vs 10 uf for a 4 ohm load. Suggestions?
