The 360 passes the DTS track through as DTS is not decoded within the xbox. This flags up correctly on the 1200ES which decodes it. What are your audio settings on the xbox dashboard? See I have like two sound systems and 5 screens (3 or 4 xbox 360, ps3, wii, a few PC, cable tv, and other consoles), so I have my setup to allow pretty much any TV screen use either sound system, so if I want my cable tv on the 7.1 sound system while I game, I can do that and still have game sound in the 2.1 sound system.
