I can't get Drakensang (US version) to run, when I try to launch it crashes to desktop after the first couple of logo screens saying that the audio subsystem could not load perhaps due to a software modem in control panel / modems. I don't have a software modem there. I tried uninstalling, rebooting, and re-installing but it still won't load.

I've just installed the US version of Drakensang but it won't run, it crashes to desktop but first puts up a message about audio subsystem and recommends that I remove a software modem from my control panel modems. I removed the software modem there and rebooted but Drakensang still won't load. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Audio Subsystem Error!! Just installed an LG External Super Multi Drive Rewriter and tried to burn all my photos to disc so I can free up some space. Got the message saying the disc was written sucessfully, but when I try to play them back it says generating preview first and then it says no preview available.
