I just learned of DScaler. I'm using an Angel USB MPEG Device (DShow) tuner. I decided to use DScaler because I was fed up with Media Center's nasty delay. I want to see how this program fairs and if I'll be able to play gamecube and stuff on my laptop. I'm using a Dell laptop (XPS M170), 2.0ghz processor, a gig of ram, and Windows XP MCE.

1) Sound is only coming out of 1 (left) channel, however, I'm pretty sure this is a stereo tuner. (status bar shows 'mono' though) 1a) No sound from any other external inputs (no sudio input menu selection) 2) Still missing some channels when doing a scan. Not a signal issue, since other tv apps pick them up fine. 3) No luck with the FM radio.

Personally, I think that guides that tell you to make the virtual cable the default (for input and/or output) are stupid - it just causes problems. IMO, the default input should be your microphone and the default output should be your speakers. To use VB Cable, you tell SDR# to use it for audio output and you tell DSD+ to use it for audio input.
