Go to the DTS App > DTS Tab > Settings > Explore Spatial Surround > Play the audio, DTS will be fixed > Mute the DTS App. Do not minimize the DTS App, the audio will work flawlessly if you do this. Thank you to u/Barmyjemoo for finding this temporary fix.

Re: Optical audio distortion I can't get surround or DTS sound from my digital out on my TV ' only pcm. I always use an optical cable from my dvd player to my AV amp but don't get a delay. I don't see how an optical digital out can overdrive an amp input. Sounds like something is wrong with your TV digital out.
