DVD-Audio discs have DD encoded tracks for use in regular DVD players that do not do MLP decoding. Your SACDs must be hybrids and thus works in regular CD players. The Xbox 360 is encoding the music into DD on-the-fly. The same goes for HDCD, and the HDCD part is simply ignored due to the lack of HDCD decoding.
