Any dvd or cd (data, audio, video) shows up as an audio disc in windows. Using windows explorer the only thing that can be seen is 1 file called Track00.cda The same thing happens when I tried an external USB CD Drive. If I put the windows xp disc in the drive and boot up it as if I'm installing windows it reads the disc properly.
