It also has an mpeg2 video encoder. Toolame is a very good mpeg 1 layer 2 audio encoder, useful for generating mpeg audio streams. While mjpegtools also has an audio encoder, they don't recommend using it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I downloaded Gui for dvdauthor as suggested and gave it a try. It's not as easy to use as I would like, but it will do the job with one exception. Using a test video, I was able to make a DVD with two audio streams that I could switch with the audio button on the remote.
