I thought both dynaudio speakers sounded better at low volumes than the 705. The 705 was also a bit too bright in the midrange for my taste. The 52se is also a bit brighter than the focus 140. The 140 is more controlled, which is what i like, so ultimately i chose the 140.

The main problem with the SE is it's a hodge-podge, just like the Special 25. The drivers implemented in the SE (old Countour drivers) are not intended to be used in the 52 enclosure.
