I haven't got an answer from Dynaudio yet. I asked if there was a special setting for the Dynaudio M3As that goes beyond the reccommended L-R 24db/oct @250hz. If that's the case it could be more to the bundle than just a good match of amp and speaker.

Also, the M1.5 came much later to the M series party. The misnomer in this range is actually the M2, since they use different tweeters (Not the Esotar) and sound nothing like the rest of the M Range, the top end is harsh and not sweet. Mostly speaking, today, M3's will probably be a custom order from Dynaudio Acoustics. Hope this helps.
