Completely non fatiguing, bags of detail, punchy, timing, pace and ryhthm...you name it and the Dynaudios do it either very well or superbly. Weakness: Within their design capabilities, none. This is my opinion of the 52SE version, a 2 way monitor rated at 4 ohms, 86db sensitivity, 13"x8"x9 1/2", non biwire accepting spades or bananas.

The Audience 52 SE's did a great job on instrumental music and classical. I think this is partly attributed to the excellent tweeter design and quality of crossover components employed. The Audience 52se will preform better overall, especially in the highs. The Focus tweeter have one extra coating to smooth out the highs and you really can hear it in the female voice, it's lacking the upper range compare to the Audience 52se, which share the same tweeter as the Contour S series. I have the Audience 82 and love it.

An allround speaker, can play anything. Even with only two 6,5" it plays mighty base and the tweeter makes a lot of space i all dimensions, there is no special weaknesses og problems. The craftmanship is excellent with real wood on outside if you choose walnut, not black ash. I´ve heard speakers at double the price who didn´t played better.

Though I was a bit perplexed by a few inherent design anomalies such as the lack of recessing the woofer into the baffle and lack of countermeasures to ensure no woofer bottoming.
