But they sound much better as the Kef’s Q7’s which have a wider sound stage but the bass of the Q7’s sounded muddy on my Rotel. Audience 72 is a real bargain, its half the price of the Dynaudio 1.8 MK2 and it is very close in performance. It is very detailed -you need very good equipment - my set is Sim Audio Moon I-5 integrated and Meridian 507 CD player, Van den Hul cables and interconnects - what I hear is very musical, dynamics is superb, detail is of the highest order, sounstage is very life like.

I like Dynaudio's 2-ways like the Contour 1.3SE, Special 25, or my Contour 2.8 speakers. I never liked the Contour 3.0 or 3.3 in comparison.
