There seems to be a lot of negative feedback about the bm6a mk2's! but i havent heard bad things about the 5a's mk2! I actually got a pair of bm5a's mk2 about a month ago! i heard the mk1 at the store and got them to order me the mk2's. unfortunatly when i wanted to test both side by side, they had sold the last pair of mk1's. so its hard to say how different they sound.

I was debating between BM6A mkII and BM5A mkII. The 6 offers more bass so attractive by default. I hooked up my Dynaudio Special 25 which goes down to 35Hz and it is overwhelming on my desk, too much bass. So I decided to order 5 instead. Man am I glad I chose BM5A mkII ! 1. level 1. robbndahood. · 9y Professional. I've got lots of experience on the BM5a-mkII, BM6a-MK1, and the Adam AX7s. The Adams are the most natural, unhyped high-end of the bunch. The HF ribbon instead of a tweeter makes a big difference. The Dynaudios are just so bright that they're a bit deceiving.
