Review: Dynaudio 122 Speaker. Let me just start off by saying that these are the best speakers I have owned. I have owned these for a little over a month now and they keep getting better and better. These speakers take 200+ hours to break in. Upon hookup, these sounded flat, harsh and lacking in bass which I was fully anticipating.

The 122 are really bright and thin sounding speaker, soundstage and detail were ok but never spectacular. Bas was not full, bit uncontrolled. Also tested the excite X14 which was a much warmer and bigger sounding speaker. Much less bright than the 122 but much more detail and a far more bigger soundstage. The bass was solid and punchy.
