Hi All, I'm a long time reader and a first time poster. I went to listen to the new Focus range from Dynaudio for my 5.1 set up but unfortunately they are not stocked yet at the local dealership. I only listened to the audience 42s with some Krell company. Needles to say that they got me hooked. BTY the store carries both Dyns and Krell.

The FOCUS 140 and 220 are a stretch too far in my view. Musically, even a Nait5i/Dynaudio 42 is likely to be a better solution than the Yammie/FOCUS140. It's also capable of driving Totem speakers up to Hawks (Arros are a particularly good combination), ProAcs up to Studio 140s, and various other speakers.

I find that the Roksan Kandy K2 works well with my Dynaudio Focus 140. They sell for £800 so its £300 more than you'd like to spend, then again, give it a demo and you probably may want to change and increase your budget just like I did.
