Totem vs Dynaudio. Opinions please. Which speakers would be a better match for the Marantz PM11S2 integrated amp the Dynaudio Focus 140 or the Totem Forest? In either case, the speakers will be used with a Rel 305 sub in a two channel system. Room size is about 12 feet by 16 feet. Thanks for all responses.

Incidentally they used to make the drivers for Totem (and IMO Totem was better when they used Dynaudio drivers). Some Dynaudios sound a lot like the Totems but generally fo considerably less money - but they don't look anywhere near as nice as Totem.

Yes Totem does use some Dyn drivers but they are drivers built by Dyn to Totem specs, these same drivers are not used in Dyn speakers. Totem is the only company that Dyn still sells it's drivers to. I own Dynaudio's and they're very hard to set up correctly. The Totem's are probably more forgiving but render a completely different presentation. I've listened to a number of Dali models with the Mentor 2 as my favorite for performance/price. However room placement was very important again.
