The red/white RCA cables are the audio (left/right). The yellow RCA is the composite video input. So, assuming the device is outputting audio, I'd suspect a configuration issue or a faulty EasyCap. How I fixed it: 1) Installed drivers without the device installed. After a quick reset I plugged in the EasyCap to my PC and it installed normally. 2) Open up OBS and made sure no other program was using the EasyCap. (If something is running it, just close the program that's using the cap card and restart OBS)

If the audio cable goes in to the easycap rather than a soundcard then there is no audio source. But this could be a hardware/driver/OS issue. I read another topic some time ago of a member who was trying to use the mic in socket for audio capture simply because he could not capture audio with the cable plugged in to easycap.
