User reviews: Echo Audiofire 8 - Audiofanzine
https://en.audiofanzine.com/firewire-interface/echo/Audiofire-8/user_reviews/
7 user reviews on Echo Audiofire 8. ECHO experience (I had almost the full range: Gina, Layla 3G Audiofire then 4 and 2, replaced by a Audiofire 8) and the bad experience MOTU several friends have kept me from ECHO. Quality, 8 analog inputs / outputs, 8 controllable on the virtual table digital channels, preamp super quality, very nervous, very detailed, ADAT, midi, ...
Echo Audiofire Pre 8 - Sound On Sound

The Audiofire Pre 8 cannot be bus-powered, but has a built-in power transformer, so can be plugged into the mains without requiring an external power supply. The Pre 8's physical layout is very similar to that of the Saffire Pro 40, in that all the I/O is on the rear panel with the exception of the headphone outputs and the inputs to the first ...

User reviews: Echo Audiofire 4 - Audiofanzine

8 user reviews on Echo Audiofire 4. I use this sound card since the end of 2009 (three years) with Logic Pro 9 on an iMac (mid-2009) and it is perfect for my needs (save one to two tracks at the same time). I like = - Ease of use, easy to configure
ECHO Audiofire 12 anyone have a review? - Gearspace.com
https://gearspace.com/board/music-computers/34744-echo-audiofire-12-anyone-have-review.html
Audio quality was excellent (better / more precise than EMUs m-series AKM based interfaces). Digital mixing / monitoring features are useful and well executed. Build quality is high. ASIO drivers are good. The lack of digital inputs or outputs is a bit of a pain. That was about it.
