12 Posts. #2 · Apr 12, 2007. Only show this user. I can't help you with the XA1000, but I run my comps off of an XA4000, and it's a great amp. Don't expect more than rated power as it's pretty well regulated, but it's super clean, and the build quality is excellent.

Unfortunately eclipse discontinued their car audio line, I was a great fan of the premium quality sound. This amp delivers crystal clear bass, excellent power and at being a discontinued line, it's extremely cheap for it's hybrid technology. My only concern with this amp always has been it's power consumption & clipping.
