I would not pay $50 (US or CN) for it either. But a L7S7a2 and a desktop 2500+ for $80 from West coast chain store seemed OK. (It was less than a P4 processor upgrade.) The 18 hours of service it has provided so far has been outstanding. At least my 9 year old is pleased. For 'light duty OCing', being able to change FSB and voltage seems enough ...
