I'll save you some time. Don't use elastic audio. Use Beat Detective. Only use elastic audio if a fill is really off time and you have to use elastic audio. EA causes all sorts of phasing issues. Elastic Audio does come in handy on drums every now and then, for instance, when two hits are too close together to use Beat Detective without getting double-hits when you fill the gaps - in situations like that you can use it to create extra space between hits.
