The ES-100's essence is one elegant electrostatic panel. This is a full-range transducer—a single diaphragm reproduces the entire musical spectrum. Joined: Sep 8 2005 - 10:24am. Re: Audiostatic ES-100. JoeE is right, leaving them on all the time is cheap and, I think, better for the speakers. Also, some people say it can take up to 24 hours to fully "charge" a panel and have it reach steady state and have it sound its best. Congrats on the purchse!
