This Factory subwoofer came out of a 2005 f150 supercrew, they are priced at over $400 new. this will fit from 2004-2008 supercabs and supercrews. You must have an Audiophile Radio (CD-6 or Nav) that has the subwoofer plug (I do have the 6 disk radio if interested). Unit mounts under the left rear seat in SuperCabs and SuperCrews.

Also make sure both plugs are hooked up, the one under the dash is the sub out put that goes into the back of the HU, its identical to the one I had in my 07 F150 w/audiophile. Stick a paper clip between the blk/gray and blk/white on the in dash harness and stick an ohm meter on pins 3 and 4 on the trunk plug and you should have continuity.

I'm on the fence about removing Unleashed from the system if adding a sub doesn't work. I installed a Kicker Soundstage on my 2013 F150 and I've been really happy with it even though it doesn't have a separate bass boost adjustment. I liked the unleashed when I heard it but I thought it just needed a little more thump.

Hi, i have a 2011 Ford f150 FX4 with the non-sony system with no sub. The speakers are OK at best, its four 6x8 speakers. I am wondering if upgrading the speakers alone could be worthwhile and which model 6x8 speakers would be best for a simple system without a sub or amp? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
