Far Cry 3 Sound Problem - Can't hear characters voices, can hear everything else I don't think this is a sound card issue as I've never had this problem with any other recent game I've installed, and the game runs perfectly otherwise. I can hear all audio, its only character dialogue that I can't hear. I just see their lips moving.

I’ve played 3 4 and 5 and I’m kinda disappointed in 6. I don’t like the RPG elements. I don’t like having to scavenge for everything and collect perk armor and that stuff. I like RPG’s but I don’t like far cry with RPG features. I like the satisfying aspects of buying guns in the other games and buying(not crafting) their attachments.

Also during many of the cutscenes the music and background noise is way too loud compared to the dialogue. apart from that the sound is pretty good. animals all sound good. 2. level 1. devilinblue22.

(Far Cry 4 of course) So I just booted up the game this morning, didn't change ANY setting between last night and now, and my sound (on both my Asus Xonar DSX and Sennheiser PC363D headphones is....off. It's almost as if the game is redirecting sound to only use the subwoofer. I've reinstalled all drivers but that did nothing.

Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4 both had lots of complaints from people on PC for muffled audio. I enjoyed the previous Far Cry games but the muffled audio in both was very distracting.
