Sound issues. Decided to play FEAR 2 again, DLed it, opened etc. but the sound doesn't work properly. I can hear the talking from my AI allies, i can hear my shooting, reloading etc. basically everything i do i can hear, but everything else has no sound, enemy gunfire has no sound, enemy yelling, breaking things etc. no sound at all.

in your FEAR folder there is a file: WMFadist 1. try to install it, but it propably wont work... 2. open the file WMFadist in winrar or 7zip 3. copy l3codeca.acm 4. paste it in the Fear directory 5. paste it in C:\Windows\System32 Bless your soul - worked perfectly for me on Win 8.1, albeit somewhat of a hassle.
