I'm using an old ffdshow: ffdshow_beta6_rev2527_20081219. It works just fine but as you see it's old as hell so I went downloading the new version, but when encoding h.264 video the audio is out of sync. Reinstalling the older version fixes the problem. Why is this? I may not do "normal things" here.

I'm using FFDShow for audio yeah. Hmm, it looks like some files aren't syncing properly possibly because of FFDshow video. With MPC-HC all filters enabled, video/audio is in sync, with SVP disabled bu FFDShow enabled, video/audio is out of sync, especially on 720p files. Playback is smooth it's just out of sync.

The wave file you get is 70 MB and mine is 20 MB, DirectShowSource uses ffdshow on both our systems so the problem must be you have an old ffdshow version (I have 1.1.3476.0 as displayed by GraphStudio) or different ffdshow settings, ffdshow uses liba52 here for AC3, I don't remember if I have changed the default (I don't know what the default is).

Finished this morning, but immediately ran into a problem. Upon playing ANY stream, the sound cuts out occasionally throughout the video (usually when the framerate drops below 40 FPS). Also, the video gets out-of-sync, and I don't get audio cuts out as well. When I pause, the video keeps on going for a while before it actually pauses.
